A plug-in OBD2 scanner with an LCD screen and simple buttons. It supports the standard OBD2 test modes, so you can read and erase check engine codes, see what each code means on the screen, check I/M readiness and view live data.

Key Features

  • Read and erase codes: with built-in definitions shown right on the screen.
  • I/M readiness: check if your car is ready for an emissions test.
  • Live data: view real-time sensor data with the engine running.
  • More functions: VIN and vehicle info, on-board monitor tests, and data record and replay.
  • Plug and play: powered by the OBD2 port; no batteries needed.

Compatibility

  • Works with most 1996 and newer cars and light trucks that have an OBD2 port and use standard OBD2 protocols.
  • The OBD2 port is usually under the dashboard on the driver's side, near the steering column.
  • Not sure about your vehicle? Message us your make, model and year before ordering.

Specifications

  • Model: V410
  • Screen: LCD
  • Connection: wired OBD2 cable (OBD2, EOBD and CAN)
  • Power: from the vehicle's OBD2 port
  • Menu language: English
  • Colors: orange, red, blue, black, yellow or gray

What's in the Box

  • 1 x OBD2 scanner with attached cable

How to Use

  1. Plug the scanner into the OBD2 port and turn the ignition on.
  2. Use the buttons to choose Read Codes, I/M Readiness or Live Data.
  3. After a repair, use Erase Codes to turn off the check engine light.

Good to Know

  • It reads standard engine and emissions data (OBD2). It doesn't access other systems such as ABS or airbags.
  • Clearing a code turns off the light, but the light comes back if the problem isn't fixed.
