Compatibility

• Car: must have factory wired CarPlay or Android Auto. If the CarPlay or Android Auto icon shows on your car screen when you plug in your phone by cable, your car has it. The supplier lists models from 2017 on.
• Not compatible with BMW or Tesla vehicles, per the supplier.
• CarPlay: iPhone 6 or later with iOS 10 or later.
• Android Auto: phones with Android 11 or later that support Android Auto. Huawei phones running EMUI are not supported.

How to Use

1. Plug the adapter into the car's USB port for CarPlay or Android Auto. If your car's port is USB-C, use the included adapter cable.
2. Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your phone.
3. Pair your phone with the Bluetooth device named "Smart Dongle" and follow the prompts on the car screen.
4. To switch from CarPlay to Android Auto, pair an Android phone with the adapter. It restarts and switches over in about 30 seconds.

• This adapter does not add CarPlay or Android Auto to a car that doesn't already have it.
