Wired to Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto Adapter, Automatic Mode Switching, for Cars with Factory Wired CarPlay or Android Auto

A plug-in adapter that turns factory wired CarPlay into wireless CarPlay, or factory wired Android Auto into wireless Android Auto. Pair your phone over Bluetooth and the Wi-Fi link connects on its own, with no password to enter.

Compatibility

• Car: must have factory wired CarPlay or Android Auto. To check, connect your phone to the car with a cable. If a CarPlay or Android Auto prompt appears on the screen, your car has it.
• Phone: Android Auto needs Android 11 or later, per the supplier. Some Android phone brands are not supported.
• Not every car works: the supplier lists some car makes and models as not compatible, and aftermarket screens may not be supported. Message us your make, model and year before ordering.

Key Features

• Wired to wireless: wired CarPlay becomes wireless CarPlay, and wired Android Auto becomes wireless Android Auto.
• Automatic mode switching: it starts in CarPlay mode. Pair an Android phone and it switches to Android Auto in about 10 to 15 seconds, per the supplier.
• No Wi-Fi password: after Bluetooth pairing, Wi-Fi connects automatically.
• Switchable Wi-Fi band: if the connection is unstable, you can change the Wi-Fi band as shown in the user manual.

How to Use

1. Plug the adapter into the car port you use for wired CarPlay or Android Auto.
2. Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone.
3. Pair your phone with the adapter over Bluetooth. Wi-Fi then connects automatically, with no password needed.

Good to Know

• This adapter does not add CarPlay or Android Auto to a car that doesn't already have it, and it cannot turn CarPlay into Android Auto or the other way around.
• The supplier does not say which plug type (USB-A or USB-C) the adapter has, so compare the photos with your car's port.
• Keep it away from moisture and do not cover its heat vents.
